Remember Me - Pilbara

Remember Me is a project to honour Yinhawangka, Banjiyma and Nyiyparli (YBN) elders traditional knowledge and support ongoing connection to Country.
For most YBN people the loss of land through dispossession means that connection with lands and water requires support. This project is designed to keep practices on Country alive through storytelling and the sharing of knowledge with younger people through a creative initiative. The exhibition and project is a way to communicate and visualize the experience of, and embeddedness of people with Country.
